It is a device that monitors volcanic gases generated in volcanic tourist areas, geothermal power plants, and hot spring areas. It monitors harmful volcanic gases to the human body and provides warnings.
Volcanic gases are harmful to the human body, and gas accidents in volcanic areas have been reported. Since the eruption of Mount Ontake in 2014, the active volcano law has been revised, and local governments have heightened their awareness of volcanic disaster prevention. Volcanic gases can occur even when volcanic activity has subsided, posing a constant risk in volcanic regions. The risk of accidents due to volcanic gases is always present not only in volcanic tourist areas but also in geothermal power plants and hot spring areas, increasing the importance of monitoring gas concentrations for the safety of workers and customers.
Our volcanic gas observation system is battery-operated and can be easily installed on-site without the need for wiring. Communication uses mobile phone signals, so it can be set up anywhere as long as there is mobile phone connectivity.
The system can detect hydrogen sulfide gas (H2S) and sulfur dioxide gas (SO2), and gas data can be viewed on our website. Additionally, if gas concentrations rise, a gas alarm will be sent to the registered mobile phone via Line, allowing for the sharing of gas concentration alerts within a Line group, thereby enhancing risk awareness among stakeholders.
